StoneFish is more than just another local cover band...They are "the greatest rock-n-roll band that never was."  In September 1999, Jackson Stone and Jeremiah Fish made their pilgrimage to Nashville, TN to make their presence known in the recording industry.  After a night at the Bluebird Cafe with their goodtime buddy and spiritual leader David Rutchik, StoneFish was formed..  Taken from the Nashville Sessions, Rutchik and Jeremiah Fish wrapped up the evening with a strong felt "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

Upon their return to the studio in Columbus, OH, Jackson and Jeremiah worked on some old Bob Dylan and Van Morrison songs along with a few Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler tunes in preparation for their first Live Concert in the Garden

The First album, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish StoneFish was recorded on March 31st, 2000 in Louisville, KY with the maestro Dr. Daniel Trochio on the harp. It was one magical evening with friends and The Stonefish Fan Club.  Although the sound was rough at times, the raw energy and creative talent shine through the bootleg recordings. Trochio adds a unique roadhouse blues flavor to the sound which can be heard in his heart-felt rendition of "Tangled Up in Blue".

StoneFish's 2nd live concert took place on July 7th atop Rockin' Matt Nelson's Rooftop overlooking the Windy City in Chicago for an impromptu gathering for long time concert promoter John Senese, a real one of a kind compadre. StoneFish was joined by legendary  lead guitaristTim Miller and bassman Matt Nelson.

On July 22nd 2000, StoneFish returned to the studio once again to finalize their 2nd album, "Ye Those Who Speak of StoneFish" with special musical guests Billy "Bad Boy" Bennett and Tommy "Two Tone" Schenck.  StoneFish laid down several tracks including Tangled Up in Blue, Sultans of Swing, Jimi Thing, All Along the Watchtower, Under My Thumb, Romeo & Juliet, Cassidy, and Suite Judy Blue Eyes.

On Aug 4-5 2000, StoneFish appeared live with none other than Uncle Fudd & Dan "LedHead" Ledman at Woodfield 2000.  It was an extra special mountain jam for guests and StoneFish groupies. The 104 song mega-medley rolled from one tune to the next without missing a note.

On Aug. 8-10  2000, StoneFish was playing again at the Crossroads Down on Main Street with Special Guest CatFish Baldwin. 'Ole Boxcar Gary pulled out a few blues classics from his suitcase including "I Am a Man" and "I'm a King Bee" by Muddy Waters and his very own blues version of Crosstown Traffic by Jimi Hendrix. Fortunately, we were able to catch a few outakes before the train Cops busted us for trespassing.

On Aug. 19th 2000, StoneFish played Live @ the Monkey Cage in Louisville for John Senese and Sara Jenkin's Wedding Shower. It was a fun-filled evening for all. The guest of honor joined the band to release his version of "If I Had a Million Dollars" and his very own tribute to Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz entitled, "The Wicked Old Witch is Dead."

In February 2001, Jackson Stone and Jeremiah Fish played at the Thirsty Ear in Columbus, OH.  Then, in March 2001, Uncle Fudd joined the band and booked the Band a gig at the Jones Middle School Talent Show.  Over 200 screaming 7th and 8th graders rocked out to StoneFish's rendition of "Run Around", originally performed by Blues Travelers.

After the Spring of 2001, the band went on hiatus and pursued different directions.  Jackson and Jeremiah performed a few outdoor gigs for family and friends, but rock stardom had taken it's toll on the band.  Not until 5 years later, would the band get back together for a reunion tour.

On May 5, 2006 StoneFish returned on stage for what would s0on be their reunion tour.  Opening for the locally acclaimed and long-time favorite band The Debits, StoneFish played at Amore in Westerville, OH.  The much anticipated event sent a shock wave throughout the local music community.

Since then, StoneFish has been working on their 3rd studio album entitled "As Real As You Want It To Be".  Promised to be their best studio album to date, StoneFish will be joined by several musical guests and rock-n-roll legends.  Stay tuned and don't touch that dial...StoneFish is BACK!
